ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Appeared or passed 10+2 examination with a desirable marks of 50% in aggregate.

Age limit

22 years for BHSM programme under WBUT.

23 years for Advanced Diploma under TAGE, South Australia.

23 years for B.Sc. Hotel Management and Tourism.

How to Apply

Admission procedures will be carried out on an all-India basis by the Institute. Eligible candidates are required to register themselves for a written entrance. Application forms can be submitted personally, by post or, on-line.Applications may be made as per instructions given in the Prospectus.

Candidates can apply on-line by submitting the applicationo form from this site.For on-line submission of application form,download the application form.One can also collect Prospectus along with Application Form from the under mentioned address directly or by post against of payment Rs. 300 in cash or Rs. 350 by DD in favour of "GOLDEN REGENCY INSTITUTE OF HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT" payable at Kolkata.

Selection Procedure

Candidates are selected through written test followed by Group Discussion and personal interviews.

Step - I. An "Objective" type written examination will be held to test the candidate's :-
1. Ability in reasoning and Logical Discussions.
2. Aptitude test for the Hospitality Industry.
3. Proficiency in the English Language.
Step - II. Candidates short-listed after the written examination will be required to appear for Group Discussion and a Personal Interview, at a date which will be intimated to each candidate.

For BHSM programme students are selected through CET (Combined Entrance Test) conducted by WBUT.Details can be obtained from the University Website: www.wbutcet.org. To fill up 'Centre Code' please enquire from the institute.

Selection

Individual responses will be sent to the selected candidates and to the wait-listed candidates, if any. A list announcing the names of selected applicants will be displayed on the Institute's Notice Board.

* A Character and Conduct Certificate from the Principal of the Institute/School/College last attended.
